  • Improving discoverability
    • Advancing the discoverability of preprints associated with funded research from a Preprint Service with the ChemRxiv, TechRxiv, and Optica Open partnership. 
    • Collaborating to better understand the research ecosystem with a research and resource project with CSIRO.
  • Supporting diversity
    • Representing diverse voices from across funders, publishers, societies, and academic institutions collaborating on various industry-related topics, including open data strategies, mapping the research lifecycle, and more.
    • More members and subscribers are joining our communities and showcasing their commitment to open research.
  • Bridging connections
    • Creating authoritative connections between researchers and their works, funding sources, affiliations, research resources, and facilities and measuring the usage and impact of these connections through the CSIRO partnership.
    • Opening up conversations with OA Switchboard to help improve connections between funded research and institutions. 
  • Enhancing data quality and integrity
    • Digesting and reporting article retraction data from Retraction Watch to bring information into one place.
    • Improving metadata via discoveries from the NSF-funded INFORMATE project.
    • Continuing our commitment to our data delivery by:
      • redesigning the dataset report and surfacing additional pertinent elements that are most important about datasets.
      • developing a protocol to ingest metadata from additional funding-identified sources.
      • the continuing integration of RoR IDs.
