CHORUS/ReSA Event: Embedding Research Software into Scholarly Publishing

CHORUS Events

30 June 2026 – Free online meeting
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM EDT
#CHORUSForum

This webinar will explore how research software can be better supported through publishing policies and workflows. As more journals move to recognize software as a first-class research output, this session will unpack current approaches, practical challenges, and emerging models for sustainable sharing of research software. Leading journals and funders will share their practices to seed a group discussion on key challenges, to identify shared priorities, define gaps, and foster cross-community alignment. This event is co-hosted by CHORUS and the Research Software Alliance (ReSA).
